Single Entry System Means No Data Duplication

I've been getting several questions related to data entry in VIN Hunter Pro. People have been concerned about the need to enter the VIN and their account information every time the access the program. Fortunately for VIN Hunter Pro this isn't the case.

VIN Hunter Pro is a native iPhone application, giving us the ability to store information about your vehicles in a local database. This means you enter a VIN once and have it decoded and it's available for whatever services you wish to access, without having to enter that VIN in again.

How to Make your iPhone Battery Last Longer

Mark, one of our excellent beta testers has a great tip for everyone:

Tell the other users if they turn off wifi and just use the 3g the battery will last much longer. The auctions have wifi in the building but it doesn't extend outside so the phone is constantly looking for a signal every time you walk back outside, which is very often.

Thanks Mark!

VIN Hunter Pro Submitted to Apple!

Last night I submitted VIN Hunter Pro to Apple for approval! Hopefully in the next couple of weeks it will be available for download. The app itself is free, but in order to access the services from CARFAX®, Black Book®, or NADA you'll need a subscription from this site. Subscriptions vary in price by the level of access you require.

Needless to say we're very excited! Soon all of the hard work invested in this project will finally pay off. Thanks to all of our partners and beta testers for making it all happen!
