When you tap the CARFAX® icon VIN Hunter Pro™ will use your existing CARFAX® account to interface with CARFAX®'s vehicle history databases. Get the answer you need while on site. No need to wait on getting back to the office, VIN Hunter Pro™ gives you access in the field.

Detailed History Records

Need more information than the highlights can provide? The History tab will list all of the history records reported to CARFAX® for the vehicle in question. See the detailed information: mileage, source, date, and description, of the records that make up the report. Scroll through the list and find the information that will help you make your purchasing decision.

Some records contain more information than can be displayed in the main Detailed History listing. Simply tap on any record to view the information collected.

Full Report

Viewing the full report is a snap; you don't even have to leave VIN Hunter Pro™! Tap the Full Report tab and the report will be displayed in a web browser contained in the application. Choosing your level of detail has never been easier.

CARFAX® Vehicle History Reports

One of the most trusted providers of vehicle history information, CARFAX® is used by millions of consumers each year. CARFAX® Vehicle History Reports™ are available on all used cars and light trucks model year 1981 or later. Using the unique 17-character vehicle identification number (VIN), a CARFAX® report is generated from our database of over six billion records.

Every CARFAX® Report contains information that can impact a consumer's decision about a used vehicle. Some types of information that a CARFAX® Report may include are:
