VIN Decoder

VIN Hunter Pro™ contains a powerful and highly optimized onboard VIN decoder. The VIN decoder allows for instantaneous decodes of VINs entered via the keyboard or the barcode scanner. Our VIN decoder contains over 200,000 vehicles from 1981 through 2010. Updated regularly, the built-in VIN decoder is a powerful tool.

Each VIN contains valuable information about the vehicle. VIN Hunter Pro™ uses the VIN to provide information on:

• Year, make, model
• A list of available trim levels for the vehicle
• Available transmission choices (automatic, standard)
• Drivetrain options available (front-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, etc.)
• Base retail price

Each vehicle listing in your library can include custom data you provide, such as:

• Mileage (used to determine vehicle value)
• Notes field (keep track of notes for this vehicle)
• Photo - Assign or take a photo of the vehicle.

All of this data is stored with each vehicle and can be retrieved quickly through the VIN Hunter interface.
